PNG Embroidery is a manufacturer, wholesaler, retailer and distributor of textile products and Embroidery Products. The main products include corporate/company uniforms, heavy duty protective clothing, industrial safety wears, office uniforms, Promotional items, T-Shirts, Caps, Mugs, Lanyard and linen for the hotel & hospitality industry. Starting from a very humble beginning, the company has grown to become the leading uniforms manufacturer and largest Embroidery company in Papua New Guinea controlling over 60% of the market. with most advance Hi-Tech Japanese Embroidery machinery. The company operates from its new and larger premises, at Morea Tobu Rd, DHL Compound and Dogura Place Six mile.

 

EXPANSION:

In the later part of 2006, the company modernized its operations with new and the latest Embroidery plant & equipment from TAJIMA, Japanon . Due to increase in customer demand and the company's future expansion plans, it is now diversifying its operations into new product lines. Accordingly additional personnel with relevant technical expertise have been sourced from Srilanka & philipines. The personnel are now on site assisting a large number of well experienced Papua New Guineans, in producing and distributing quality PNG MADE textile products. The growth of the business and its market share comes from the performance of its brand name and quality, and consistent focuses on its consumers. Company has extensive advertisement & marketing campaign through mass media such as EMTV, NAU FM, Post Courier and National newspaper which brought the Pacific Embroidery Ltd as household brand in the country.

 

INDUSTRY PARTICIPATION:

The company has participated upon invitation by the PNG Government through the Department of Trade and Industry and Melanesian Spearhead Group (MSG) in several overseas trade fairs and exhibitions. PNG Embroidery Ltd was invited to participate on Trade & Investment mission in South Korea, Japan, Solomon Island, Vanuatu, and Fiji. PNG Embroidery Ltd is a leader in its own right in PNG in the Embroidery technology and textile industry. It has developed and maintains a market and products line which are reliable, possessing competitiveness and quality with reasonable pricing affordable by PNG' corporate sector. One of the new product lines the company wishes to enter is to focus on developing local skill through its localization programme and providing textile training courses for the people, particularly women and girls who are coming out from vocational centers, schools and villages. The company envisages using its large and experienced local workforce to run training courses in textile to Papua New Guineans in Pidgin and basic English. It believes in meaningful engagement and participation by Papua New Guineans in the textile industry. By running training programs, the company would contribute to raise the living standards as well as promoting a sustainable living for families with clothing and other basic textile products for the citizens of this country.

 

MARKET:

The companys main product line includes company & Corporate uniforms, industrial safety wear, and corporate Gift & Promotional items, and linen to the hotels and tourist resorts. Our major customers include Air Niugini, Prime Minister Department Office, PNG Police Constabulary, C.I.S, Bomana Police College, Office of Higher Education, Hargy Oil Palm, UPNG, PNG AIDS Council, Department of Health, Telikom, Airways Hotel, Holiday Inn, Crown Plaza etc... Some other customers are banks, hospital, schools, security companies, mining and petroleum sectors and other corporate bodies. PNG Embroidery Ltd controls over 60% of the Papua New Guinea textile market and it is still exploring ways and means of increasing this market share and to continue to offer better services to its customers. The company is an established entity currently producing the latest fashion design using the latest equipment on the market, to suite PNG's growing demands. The labour force includes 6 overseas designing/Tailoring technical expertise, Japanise Embroidery machines operators and well-trained 40 national staff. The company is able to produce high quality products for reasonable price.
